
Parking: The Frank Sarris Public Library is located at 35 North Jefferson Ave. Our entrance and car park are behind the library and can be accessed from Murdock Street.
We are open for personal services but please remember:
- The Dropbox for returned items has moved. It is now on Murdock Street.
- Patrons can browse our adult, children and young adult collections on the first floor. Patrons can also use our computers, copy and fax documents. Please visit our website for our prices for services such as printing and faxing.
- Computers and study rooms are allocated based on availability. Computers are limited to one hour per user. Study rooms are limited to two hours per user and occupancy is one person/room at this time. We ask all users to be considerate of others when using a computer or study room.
End of Summer Explosion: Join us at the Outdoor Learning Garden to celebrate the end of our 2022 Summer Reading Program with games and activities! August 13, 1-3 p.m

Programming for adults
FSPL Book Club: The August book will be “Golden Girl” by Elin Hilderbrand. The September book will be The Girls of Atomic City: The Untold Story of the Women Who Helped Win World War II by Denise Kiernan. Pick up a copy at the circulation desk. Yarn & Yammer: Welcome fiber artists! Want to get out and sew with others? Bring your current work to the Frank Sarris Public Library to knit, crochet, embroider or sew with fellow fiber friends. New to fiber art but still want to get involved? A limited supply of yarn and needles will be available for learning to knit. This program is free and no registration is required. Wednesdays, August 3rd and 24th and September 7th and 21st, 5.30pm – 6.30pm

Lego Club: Are you a Lego fan? Want to show off your building skills? Come to the library and join other builders! Legos are provided for use during the Lego Club. Finished pieces can even be selected to be displayed in the library! No registration is required. Sponsored by the FSPL Teen Advisory Board. Age 6+. Mondays, August 8th and 22nd and September 19th and 26th, 5.30pm-6.30pm
Read with a therapy dog: Do you have a reluctant reader? A child with a fondness for puppies? Come to the library once a month to read to a therapy dog. This program is a great motivator for reluctant readers and a treat for those who love dogs. Our therapy dog has been trained by Therapy Dogs International and is looking forward to all the stories the patrons will be reading to him this summer. Tuesdays, August 9, 5-6:45 p.m.; September 12 and 27, 5-6:30 p.m

Youth Advisory Board: The TAB meets monthly to plan, organize, and conduct activities that engage and benefit members of the community. Students in grades 7 through 12 are welcome to join this volunteer group. Questions about TAB can be directed to Dana Bell at dbell@franksarrislibrary.org. 8.8. and 12.9., 5:30 p.m. – 6:45 p.m
