miles of style! Where the chicest celebs are vacationing this year

While your flight is cancelled, the world’s celebrities fly around in private jets, dish out their fortunes on superyachts, dine at gourmet restaurants on the Eiffel Tour and scale canyons at five-star desert resorts. Disgusting, isn’t it?

And yet we can’t help but look on with envy and pretend to be looking for travel tips. From historic Roman villas to decadent carriages on the Venice Simplon-Orient-Express, this summer’s chicest celebs lived their best lives.

Marc Jacobs

Capri, Ponza and Rome

The American fashion designer lives the dolce vita with his smoking hot candlemaker husband Char Defrancesco, his brand’s global press officer Michael Ariano and photographer Nick Newbold. Jacobs revealed the friendship holiday on July 22 with an Instagram photo dump of the delicious desserts at Il Riccio, a cliff-top restaurant overlooking the famous Blue Grotto in Capri, with comments from the fashion glitterati drooling over their pastries.

The group then drove to the island of Ponza, where Jacobs met Tommy Hilfiger at the port. “Go to Acqua Pazza for great pizza and pasta,” the designer colleague recommended under a selfie of the couple in love, to which the answer was “Okay!”. The group also dined at other local spots like Un Mare di Sapori and La Fontelina, with Jacobs sharing traditional Italian dishes like spaghetti alle vongole and spaghetti aglio e olio. After a final pit stop at La Posta Vecchia, a prestigious seaside villa built in 1640 on the outskirts of Rome, the group took their private jet back to New York last weekend. But fear not, Jacobs is still updating plenty of recaps from her quirky journey for you to mindlessly scroll through while you’re at your desk.

USP: (Very well dressed) boys on tour taste the best gastronomic delights of Italy

Kate Moss

Though the legendary ’90s supermodel has long since left her late-night antics behind, Kate Moss still enjoys floating around on party islands like Ibiza and St Tropez. This summer, however, the It girl chose a more unexpected location: Utah. Along with good friend Rita Ora, they took a girls’ getaway to Amangiri, a secluded five-star resort in Colorado’s dramatic Red Rock Desert that has hosted the likes of Kendall Jenner, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley and Hailey Bieber. The $6,000-a-night hotel overlooks 900 acres of canyons, ridges and gorges that set the stage for their action-packed schedule, which also included the two style icons braving the Cave Peak Stairway. In fact, the ‘Hot Right Now’ singer even uploaded a rare photo of Moss soaring 400ft above the rocky pool. Very chic.

USP: Adrenaline-pumping wellness retreat worth breaking any no-Instagram-selfies policy.

Elon Musk

What happens when the richest man in the world, a superstar agent and a major fashion designer go on vacation? The answer is, unsurprisingly, another extravagant yacht excursion.

Elon Musk is taking a break from his Twitter legal battle with his good friend Ari Emanuel, the CEO who served as inspiration for the HBO show Entourage, and Sarah Staudinger, Staud’s founder. Despite reportedly renting a mansion for two weeks, the famous “anti-holiday” Tesla entrepreneur squeezed into the luxurious party venue for just three days before rushing back to California. During that time, the trio sunk cocktails, sunbathed and swam off the rear deck of the $7,000 yacht Zeus. They also took a day trip to Delos, an island near Mykonos which is home to one of the most important archaeological sites in Greece, and were spotted having lunch at Spilia restaurant on Agia Anna beach. Not exactly native, but still.

USP: A hit of location-avoiding luxury with similarly ultra-rich friends

It’s been a rough time for the Biebers lately. Justin was recently diagnosed with Ramsay Hunt Syndrome, a viral infection that has left half his face paralyzed, while Hailey suffered a mini-stroke in April. Her recent getaway to Florence after the pop god’s performance at the Lucca Summer Festival was long overdue. The adorable couple were seen soaking up the culture at the Galleria dell’Accademia di Firenze, with their PDA to Michelangelo’s world-famous statue of David going viral on social media.

No trip to the Tuscan capital would be complete without gelato, and the couple visited Gelateria Artigianale with two bodyguards in tow. Understandably, they caused a stir, rushing the historic streets to avoid posing for selfies. But don’t worry, they managed to end their romantic day with a candlelit dinner at La Giostra restaurant, a club joint founded by the late Prince Dimitri Kunz d’Asburgo Lorena.

USP: Historical culture as a backdrop for PDAs and fan hysteria.

Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck

Rex functions

Hollywood’s most hyped power couple tied the knot with a week-long romance in Paris, 20 years after breaking off their first engagement. Though the wedding was a low-key Las Vegas quickie, the honeymoon was anything but. Along with their respective children, the blended family marveled at Impressionist masterpieces at the Musée d’Orsay, chartered the Petrus III, a 71-foot yacht from the 1953, for a cruise on the Seine and dined at romantic places like the elegant Jacques Garcia-designed restaurant Le Matignon.

The newlyweds also abandoned their children for impromptu snogging on park benches and an indulgent dinner at the Girafe under the Eiffel Tower, something so romantic it brought The Last Duel actor to tears. Much like the film did to viewers.

USP: A circuit for kissing at pit stops

The Beckhams

Paris, Venice, Saint Tropez

To mark their 23rd anniversary, Victoria and David Beckham are busy taking Europe by storm. Based in her favorite city of Paris, the former footballer shared loving stories of his fashion designer holding heart-shaped balloons and dining al fresco on their hotel balcony. They then took the opulent Venice Simplon-Orient Express, where a one-way ticket starts at £8,400 per person for a Grand Suite, for a Venice getaway with Posh’s parents.

The couple, who most recently chartered the £1.6million superyacht Madsummer near St Tropez, have been on non-stop holidays ever since. With 10 suites, their own pool, screening room and dance floor, the couple invited a large group of friends — including supermodel Gigi Hadid and Sarah Ferguson, and their two children Harper and Cruz — to join them knees high on the high seas. The rowdy squad was jet skiing, sunbathing and karaoke. Yes, that’s right, karaoke – in fact, Victoria revisited her ’90s girl band era for a drunken rendition of her chart-topping anthem ‘Stop’, which David kindly shared on social media for us all to admire.

The Inter Miami CF co-owner also took his daughter Harper to Azur Park, where the pair enjoyed the nightly carnival. And the parents broke away from the group to enjoy a delicious lunch at La Scoglio Da Tommaso restaurant, a celebrity hotspot in the coastal village of Marina del Cantone.

USP: Family-friendly debauchery

Megan Thee Stallion

Top hottie Megan Thee Stallion showed us how it’s done in her latest blowout in Ibiza. The originator of “Hot Girl Summer,” the rapper served body-ody-ody in a string bikini aboard a luxury yacht while sipping champagne. The Billboard Women in Music award winner also graced her fans with a video of her strutting through her white stone mansion overlooking the ocean in a leopard print bikini, sipping a glass of white wine. Plus, of course, an onslaught of videos from their friendship group twerking on sunbeds, bars and, well, any other flat surface they could find.

USP: Party like the pioneer of ‘Hot Girl Summer’ should be
