Polka Mass Sunday in the Holy Trinity

The Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Hermitage hosts a Polka Mass with the Rex Taneri Orchestra on Sunday (7-3-22) at 10am.

All are welcome to join the festivities celebrating Sis. Cyril and Method Day, a national holiday in Slovakia.

Living Faith Christian Church Announces Worship Services

Worship at the Living Faith Christian Church, 829 Sharon-New Castle Road, Farrell, begins at 10:30 am on Sunday. All are welcome.

Sharon Outreach Bible Study meets

Sharon Outreach Bible Study, a ministry of Covenant Church, Grove City, meets on the first and third Friday of each month from 6:30-7:30 p.m. at 263 E. State St., Sharon. The next study is today. All are welcome.

Orangeville Baptist continues worship services, events

Orangeville Baptist Church, 7600 Orangeville Road, Sharpsville, offers Sunday School for all ages beginning at 10 am with worship at 11 am and Wednesday evening Bible study and prayer at 7 pm

The Church is always collecting food for its pantry, along with clothing and household goods.

The movie night is scheduled for July 8th at 7pm and will feature ‘I Still Believe’, the true story of Christian musician Jeremy Camp and his tale of love and loss. Popcorn and drinks are provided.

The Vacation Bible School is scheduled for August 5-7 with a recap on August 7.

Our Freedom Chapel announces services

Our Freedom Chapel, 106 Mercer Ave., Sharpsville, a non-denominational, Bible-based church, announces its Sunday 10:30 am service and children’s church.

Complimentary baker’s bread and cups of coffee are available to the public.

The Discipleship Ekklesia Course takes place on Wednesdays at 6:00 p.m.

to speak to Rudge, pRegistration for the summer camp is due

Rev. Bill Rudge of Bill Rudge Ministries at Hermitage will be a guest speaker Sunday (3/7/22) at South Pymatuning Community Church, 3400 Tamarack Drive, Sharpsville. Rudge is part of the Church’s celebrations of Independence Day weekend and will speak about the freedoms in our nation and the freedoms Christians have because of their relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ. The service begins at 10:30 am and includes special music, a flag ceremony, worship in song and the word of the Lord.

Additionally, Sunday is the last day for parents to register their children for the Church Spectacular Summer Camp scheduled for July 8-9 from 9 am to 2 pm for Kindergarten through 5th graders. All children in the area are encouraged to attend the camp, which will provide many hands-on experiences for the children with classes in art, music, gardening, baking, physical education, Bible studies and Christian film time. The projects are completed and taken home by the children. Lunch is provided each day and participation in the camp is free. Chestnut Ridge offers a summer event for children

A free summer event for kids, “Monumental VBS: Celebrating God’s Greatness!” will be held July 11-15 from 6-8 p.m. at the Chestnut Ridge Church of God in Hubbard, Ohio.

All children ages five to six are invited to immerse themselves in God’s great love by participating in Monumental Music, Red Rocks Recreation and Canyon Crafts while adventuring through the Bible with our 2022 Bible Buddies.

Snacks and drinks are available in the Cactus Café.

Trinity Presbyterian Church, 110 E. Market St., Mercer, continues its 2022 Summer Music Series on Sunday with Glenn Buchanan on organ.

Upcoming music includes: Cary Cooper, violin, July 10; Trinity Hand Bell Choir, July 17; Pamela Courtney, vocals, July 24; RJ and Pressley Washil, piano and vocals, July 31; Marilyn Rost, vocals, August 7; Carol Carlson, vocals, August 14; Dana Eade, instrumental, August 21; Leah Bortz, vocals, August 28. The series concludes with Larry Moose, Mountain Dulcimer, at the 11am service on September 4th.
