Gina Miller shares why her family adopted two kids – Canton Repository | Wonder Mind Kids

November is National Adoption Month, a time to draw attention to the children and young people waiting to be adopted from the foster care system.

This month is important to me because as a social worker and foster parent, I’ve seen firsthand how helping a child feel loved and safe can make an incredible difference in their lives. There are children in our community who need families right now.

By sharing my family’s adoption story, I hope to raise awareness and encourage others to help a child in need.

I am the proud mother of two adopted children and three biological children. I had no intention of planning an adoption, my intention was to become a foster parent.
