(WJHL) – Halloween may not fall on a Saturday or Sunday, but there are plenty of spooky events to take part in this weekend.

Appalachian Family Care Trunk or Treat Community Expo

Carter Railroad Museum Heritage Day
What: Legendary Southern Railway for Memorial Day
When: October 29 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m
Where: George L. Carter Railroad Museum of ETSU
More: The museum includes model railway layouts, a special children’s activity room, and other programs. There are no entry fees, but donations are welcome.

Edgar Allan Power & other haunted tales in the woods
What: Hosted by the Theater at Tusculum, this benefit features five adaptations of short stories from classic literature and local playwrights
When: October 28th and 29th. Gates open at 5:45pm and show starts at 6:00pm

What: The park transforms into a haunted attraction at night, complete with its iconic haunted house, costumed characters, decorations, trick-or-treating and more.
