BIG FALLS, Mon. – It’s spooky time of year, which means you’ll see ghosts, witches, and goblins filling the streets as Halloween approaches.

Central Montana is home to a few events this weekend, ranging from family-friendly trick-or-treat events to adult costume contests:

  • Halloween Carnival: A fun-filled evening at the Children’s Museum of Montana featuring karaoke, cake walks, trick-or-treating, a costume contest and more. October 28, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in the Children’s Museum.
  • Trick or Treat for Kids to Eat: The CMR Drama Department will be at Westside Albertson’s on Saturday, October 29 from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm raising funds for the CMR Food Pantry.
  • Nightmare on Newberry Street: On October 29th you can enjoy a concert and a DJ from 20:00. Doors open at 8pm and tickets are $20 and after 10:30pm $5.
  • Ghouls & Goblins Fall Craft Show: Trick-or-treating, free kids’ activities, costume contests and more on October 29 from 9am-3pm at the Great Falls Civic Center.
  • Safer downtown trick-or-treating: On October 29, from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., bring the kids downtown and enjoy trick-or-treating. Just look for the flyer in participating store windows along Central Ave, 1st Ave N, and 1st Ave S.
  • Trick or Treating at Benefis: Sunday 30th October, starting at 1pm at Benefis Westview 4th Floor, then moving to Benefis Eastview at 2pm, before the last stop at Grandview Cottages/Assisted Living/Reflections at 3: 12:00 a.m.
  • Community Halloween Party: Sunday, October 30th at 6:30pm, put on your costume and join in for an evening of fun for all ages with candy, games, snacks and more.
  • Kiwanis Trunk or Treat: Sunday, October 30 at 2:30 p.m. at The Salvation Army in Great Falls.
  • KF3: Candy Palooza: Standing for Kid’s Funtastic Fall Fest, Harvest Springs is hosting their annual event on October 29 from 2-5pm, tThere are games, giant bouncy castles, activities, food and more for the whole family.
  • Halloween Matinee: On October 29 at 11:00 am at the Mansfield Center for the Performing Arts, you can attend the Halloween Matinee, which is both educational and exciting and suitable for all ages. You are encouraged to dress in costume.
  • Halloween Costume Contest: On October 29th at 8:00pm, the North 40 Bar will host an adult costume contest with karaoke, dancing and cash prizes.
  • Halloween Kid’s Crafts: On October 29, from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., you can bring your children to the Crafter’s Lounge for fun crafts. The cost is 2 crafts for $5 and there are at least 8 crafts to choose from.
  • F*Bomb Halloween @ Kellergeist: Live Music, Drinks and More at the Kellergiest Pub Theater for $5 starting at 9pm on October 29th.
  • Fun Fall Family Festival: The Great Falls Nazarene host affriendly event with carnival games, suitcases or treats, giant bouncy castles and a chili dinner from 17:00 to 20:00 on Sunday October 30th.
  • Halloween Party: This is for children ages 3 to 12 and their families at the Great Falls Public Library from 11:00am to 12:30pm, they will have games, crafts, spooky stories and more.
  • Bass Clef Halloween Art Party: On October 29, from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., head to the Times Square Building in Great Falls for cookie decorating contests, face painting, and Halloween crafts. Admission tickets are $20.
  • Halloween Pictures: You can stop by Vault Studios in Great Falls on October 29th from 2pm to 6pm to have your picture taken. Pictures cost $25.
  • Tuffy’s Annual Halloween Party: Beginning October 29 at 7:00 p.m. at Tuffy’s Sunset Inn in Sun Prairie, celebrate Halloween with consumption, karaoke, dancing, food and friends.
  • Halloween Skate Party Questions: Wear your Wheels of Thunder costume for a Halloween ice skating party. Open to LGBTQ+ teens and allies aged 13-19 from 3pm-5pm on Sunday 30th October.
  • Halloween @ Missouri River Bar: On October 29, from 7:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m., experience costume contests, live music and more at the Missouri River Bar and Grill in Cascade, Montana. According to their Facebook event, it’s a family-friendly night of fun with costume contests for both kids and adults.
  • Halloween Party at the Pub: On October 29th at 21:00 at the Belt Brew Pub, you can experience karaoke and music along with drinks and friends.
  • Scream at Centene: Experience the haunted house at Centene Stadium this weekend through October 31st. Tickets are $6 and you get a $1 discount if you bring a canned food donation. The Haunted House is open from 6pm to 11pm and you can buy your tickets at the door.
