FRIDAY 28 OCTOBER
Trail of Terror from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. 4800 13th Avenue South The cost is $15 for adults, $10 for students, $40 for a family of 5. This event is brought to you by the Sparkettes of Montana as our annual fundraiser. (shortcut)

Nightmare on Ella Avenue: Haunted House from 8:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. at 4115 Ella Avenue. Free event. Complimentary popcorn and hot cocoa. Donations are accepted and so are donations from food banks.

SATURDAY 29 OCTOBER
Ghouls & Goblins Fall Craft Show at the Great Falls Civic Center from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Family-friendly fall Halloween craft show sponsored by the Great Falls Farmers Market. Enjoy trick-or-treating, live radio broadcasts, free kids’ activities, costume contests and more! (shortcut)

Halloween matinee by the Great Falls Symphony; Mansfield Theater at the Great Falls Civic Center, 11:00 am Guaranteed fun for the whole family, we recommend dressing in costume. Hear the scariest music ever! The Halloween Family Matinee is both educational and exciting, and is suitable for all ages. The concert lasts about an hour without an intermission. Free sweets are available after the concert for trick-or-treating. (shortcut)

halloween party for children and young people from 3 to 18 years and their families at the Great Falls Public Library from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Celebrate the season with crafts, games and spooky stories! This event is free. Make your own costume with the materials we provide. Brave children aged 8+ are invited to hear Spooky Storytelling from Alvin Schwartz’ classic Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark series in the small meeting room (basement). Craft projects are suitable for children aged 3 and over with the help of an adult caregiver. (shortcut)

Wheels of Thunder Roller rink at 1609 12th Avenue North from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Olaf, Poppy, Branch, Peppa Pig, Mario, Luigi, Mickey Mouse, Elsa and more will all be there! Craft table, plush and candy on the ice surface at about 2:45 (like a balloon drop) candy at each table, balloon lady, face painter. Everything is free.

Funtastic autumn festival for children at 2 p.m. at Harvest Springs Community Church at 1001 36th Avenue NE. Join this free event for all ages. Come as you are or in your fall costume. There will be games, giant bouncy castles, activities, food and more! (shortcut)

SUNDAY 30 OCTOBER
Lewis & Clark Interpretation Center: The Center (4201 Giant Springs Road) is hosting a free community event. Free entry to the center, free spooky crafts, a scavenger hunt, free treats for costumed kids (0-16 while supplies last) and meeting Seaman, the famous canine researcher. Halloween costume contest with 3 categories: silliest, cutest and scariest.

A special Halloween: an event at Sunrise Presbyterian Church for children who cannot Trick or Treat due to disabilities, sensory issues, medical fragility, etc. participants must RSVP in advance – Click here to login and for more information.

Boy Scouts of America: Pumpkin Painting Halloween Fun hosted by Venturing Crew 2041 from 12:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. at 820 17th Avenue South. The event is open to all children, boys and girls, aged 1-99. Choose a pumpkin from our pumpkin patch and enjoy using markers and paint to create your own jack-o’-lantern to take home. Prizes for the best pumpkin picture will be awarded for all age groups. Immediately after the event, you can attend the trunk-or-treat event across the street in the Salvation Army parking lot. Hire free ministries is partnering with Hope Falls Ranch for a harvest party at Hope Falls Ranch from 3:00pm until dusk. This free event is packed with carnival games, suitcases or treats, free hot cocoa and popcorn, hay carts and LOTS OF CANDY!! This is a free event!! We will also have all the animals to pet and love. Carnival in autumn: From 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., the Great Falls Nazarene Church (1727 Second Avenue South) is hosting a free Fall Carnival featuring bouncy castles, suitcases or treats, carnival games, and a chili cook-off!

halloween party: Beginning at 6:30 p.m., Central Christian Church at 1025 Central Avenue will be hosting a community Halloween party with games and activities, costumes, and candy for all ages.

Lutheran Faith Church – Fun and Safe Trick or Treating Experience – Open to All – 6:00pm to 7:30pm at 1300 Ferguson Drive

Trunk or treat/harvest party: From 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., the Vineyard Church at 1617 6th Avenue North is hosting a free and safe, family-friendly trunk or treat-and-harvest party to the public! Come and enjoy free sweets, games, a bouncy castle, coffee and hot chocolate.
